We use official planning guidance, legislation, HSE guidance and manufacturer documents. We identify which model a dimension applies to. A door’s advertised width, overall frame size and clear passage width are different measurements.
Clear limits
Our planning tool provides a starting point for a council enquiry. It does not account for every planning condition or restriction. Our size checker cannot confirm that a product fits. Powered equipment needs a competent installer and an assessment of the complete installation.
